A PU Hairline Instead of a Lace Front
NEW AUSTRALIA has no lace front: the first inch of the base is clear PU, so the hairline itself sits on PU and the knots stay unbleached. Flex lace fills the centre, keeping the middle of the base open.
Stylist note: Plan the tape layout around the 2-inch PU on the sides and back first. That broad band is the main reason to choose this unit, since it gives clients who re-attach at home a generous, clearly defined area to work with.
Density, Size and Shades on NEW AUSTRALIA
Hair is Light/Medium to Medium (110%), 5 inches long with a 30mm curl, freestyle direction and a standard contour, which suits a client whose own hair is around medium density. There is one 8x10 base to cut to the client's template, and the 56-code ring includes Human Grey shades such as #1B65 Human Grey.
NEW AUSTRALIA, PRO and the 1-Inch Models
NEW AUSTRALIA PRO uses the same PU widths, density and size, so between the two the deciding point is which color codes you need. AUSTRALIA and AUSTRALIA-S use a narrower 1-inch PU perimeter at Medium (120%). We do not publish a wear life or adhesive recommendation, so ask us to confirm before ordering.
